Yes I believe so. Age of consent is 16 there. Same as a lot of places. 18 age of consent holds in California but it’s on the high end of things.

I’m in Canada the age of consent here was 14 when I was growing up. Was only under Harper it raised to 16.

GGBB quotes the law accurately in Alabama but interprets wrong. 16 is the age but there’s a near age exception.
so what’s illegal is an 18+ with a 15 or younger OR a 16+ with an under 12. 16 and 50 is allowed.
