Never a turn off as far as I'm aware. The only problem it MAY cause in certain situations, is a little loss of friction for the man. So if he's not very sensitive down there he might need to put in a little extra work or dab some of the wetness away to climax.

But a guy of normal sensitivity with good stamina shouldn't have a problem.
