Could you date someone who identifies as Asexual?

I would call myself asexual... I have little to no sexual desire and have always been like this my whole life. However, I do have a partner with whom I’m sexually active with, but sex is mostly something I do for him, because it feels like nothing to me. (To clarify, it’s not just him, I’ve slept with 5+ people and it always feels like nothing to me.)
