Could you shower openly in a coed shower room?

Common among nudist areas, but not common in the US as a whole. Would you be able to shower or bathe openly around both genders?

I could but at the same time, it would be difficult to see a beautiful woman or many women who could come in and then I would get turned on and stiff. I would be fine for the most part but there is a certain look on a woman that turns me on and I could not help it because I'm so visually driven toward the natural look of the female body. So like natural pubic hair on a girl and everything else looking untouched would make me pretty uncomfortable because it turns me on the most. I would probably have to leave the showers.

No, I wouldn't even try that. It's not that I "couldn't" as in I'd be physically unable to do it, I wouldn't want to do it or choose to do it. I can't think of any normal situations to where I'd be showering in some "open" shower that has both sexes showering together. I just find it inappropriate.

I'm from a nudist family so have been doing it all my life.
Nudity is our most natural form and we should never be ashamed of our bodies.
Unfortunately, many were trained to do just that during the dark and Victorian ages and in America by Puritan settlers.

That is exactly what the Catholic church taught the people during the dark ages that has carried on to this day in some sectors of society, then they tortured and killed any that knew otherwise while at the same time the priests were having sex with the children. Nudity is not sex. Sex is sex Mr Silver. If you want to have sex in your mind, you can do that most easily without seeing a girl nude.

It not brainwashing it's true. If all men could control themselves well when they see a completely nude woman then there would not being an issue. But most of men can't. That's why nudity is considered to be sexual. Of course it doesn't mean that a girl who decided to take off her clothes wants to have sex. But men looking at her would want. It's a natural reaction

@SilverRain92 I agree with you Mr Silver, but it wouldn't be that way if nudity was allowed to be a natural form of life, as it should be. Why are native African girls not raped daily, who go around topless and even nude every day in some parts of Africa? It's because it is a natural way there and no one sees it as sexual until it is time to become so. You see what I am saying?

Africa is full of ethnical conflicts and when one side occupies the new territory they rape women. I'm not sure about that. I don't know any advanced civilization where women could walk nude legally. If tomorrow governments of all countries in the world will allow nudity I am sure that the most of nude women would face undesired sticky attention, dirty comments and catcalling at least.

Yes. Guys find naked women body sexual. If not that all women would be allowed to walk nude. I am sure that even in the nudist beach a lot of men think about having sex with women they see just don't show it

I’m all for coed bathrooms, it depends with the showers. If there’s doors or curtains or whatever I’d be fine with it. If it were an open area like the showers at swimming pools, I wouldn’t really be a fan.

I have done frequently. Shower after a swim to get the chlorine off. Guys there, too, including my brother and my mum's partner. No big deal, so do not make it one.

Women's bodies are sexualized in America that's why. When the taboo of nudity is removed, body parts being shown become no big deal and you get used to it. So people in such cultures, it's no big deal for opposite sex to shower near each other naked.

Yes, and I've done this at a naturist club near where I live. Usually it's before people get it in the swimming pool (which is what you're supposed to do as per the posted sign), but it's also for when you're through hiking for the day or whatever and you're getting ready to leave. Since everyone is already naked at the club, showering with them is no big deal.
