Do all guys measure their own dicks?

  • I did when I was a teenager, lmao, like you start hearing people throw sizes around and you get curious about how you stack up.

    I cannot tell you how relieved I was when I finally figured out people were talking about measuring when erect, not flaccid. I’m a dumbass😂😂😂 Can’t for the life of me remember why I would’ve thought a woman would care about the size of a soft dick, how did I even graduate high school?💀💀💀

    My lady was saying the other day that she hears women talking big, bad shit like, a guy needs to be “AT LEAST 8 inches” to satisfy her, and she was saying “Obviously you have size queens out there, but I wonder if most of these women actually know what 8 inches looks like.” And that kind of tracks, because, usually, I hear women laughing about men measuring, “lol, what, do you think I keep a ruler on my nightstand?”, that sort of thing. But then, out of the other side of their mouths, they’re talking about how they want a dude who hangs pretty strong.

    I know these are mixtures of opinions of different women, but I do find that interesting, and I wonder now what my lady wondered: “maybe women think a certain size is however many inches, but since they admittedly DON’T measure and never have, they’re left kind of estimating, or going by what the guy tells them”, which I assure you will be rounded UP😂

    Like the math doesn’t math, supposedly only like 1% of men are like 8 inches and up, so where are you ladies finding all these guys? So it’s like “Maybe that 8 you thought you had was only 6 1/2…. I mean, you said yourself, you don’t measure, right?” I asked my lady straight up, “no judgement, you were out there before you met me, what were you seeing out there in the field?” And she’s just like “usually…it was just like…ok, it’s a dick. It’s not big, it’s not small, it’s just a dick.”

    And the other thing, I’ve heard MULTIPLE stories from female friends who declined hooking up when they saw the size of a guy, so there’s enough people out there who are OPPOSED to it too.

    My girl and I kind of decided it’s one of those “People say a lot of things” kind of situations. Dudes say they want a chick with humongous tits, but do they really? Or would they not settle for someone without them? Usually yes. This is just people speaking in ideals that they probably won’t hold to.

    So…. not something I put a ton of time thinking about, haha, this is the most effort I’ve put into it, but I do wonder if there’s any truth to that. Like maybe women talking about how big (or small) their guy is don’t have any fucking clue because they’re just eyeballing. I don’t know. I feel like we should get this hashed out though, because so many dudes have a complex about their dick size, lmfao

  • At this point in my life, other people measure it for me. ;)

    That does, actually, happen. Women have heard all the nonsense ways guys have of cheating the measurement and overstating their penis length. (Aside from all the ridiculous lies guys talk all the time on the internet, the average American man knows how to hold the ruler all way down by his prostate and make a 5 inch penis measure 7 inches.) So, on occasion, a woman has asked me if my penis is some ridiculous length like 10 inches (because she dated a guy with a 5 1/2 inch penis who was convinced it was 8 inches). I am happy to show her how to measure it properly and get her to revise that estimate downward to something realistic.

    She rolls her eyes at this, of course, but men like talking about their penises and getting women to touch them (in case you never noticed this!). So, it’s all good fun.

    • It is soooo true! :) So many guys have figured out just how to hold the ruler and bend the penis to get the longest possible measurement (at least two inches too long), and then revel in comparing themselves to the results of some clinical study which used a top-side pubic bone measurement. “I know you want to get these 10 inches in you, baby.” LOL

  • I’ve seen guys online talking about their BP, bone pressed, measurement. Apparently they jam a ruler into the fat pad above there dick to add a 1/4” to their length measurement 😂. My dick is on the smaller side too so I can relate to some of the insecurities that come with it. But this made no sense and seemed ridiculous. That little bit of extra length is not visible and very unlikely it makes a difference in terms of sexual pleasure. So if a girl can’t see or feel this hidden treasure what’s the point? 😆

    • Tip to bone is what scientists use as well because tissue to tissue would vary too much. And in this sense some guys can "gain" some length by just losing weight as it becomes more exposed.

    • @BarryLiverstone that’s an outdated practice. They aren’t allowed to get us aroused anymore. Currently, it is the echo test but a depth device would be a logical next step.

  • Probably at some time or another. Mine is 6.5 inches erect, but make up for it by being thick, which isn’t always a good thing as I’ve had complaints about stretching too much. Lube is a woman’s best friend, I’ll say that.

  • There's a long backstory to this... But I had to get accurate measurements when ordering a toy called the Venus for Men (it's the same company as Sybian). For the sheath part to work properly, need accurate length and girth.

    And yes besides that time and out of curiosity I've done it but not recently.

  • Yes I have only because growing up I had girls tell me I had a very small penis so I began comparing and measuring all the time all my life till this day. It had been a very traumatic event for me sadly. I have even gone to see medical experts and have had them measure it as well

  • I honestly hadn’t even thought to measure it until I got on dating apps, and I started hearing about this “6 inches or above” thing. Tbh I still don’t know if I measured it correctly though. I think honestly when guys go to the doctor the nurse should measure it to stop this self reporting crap and also because a shrinking penis can be a (very rare) side effect of medications like SSRIs and finasteride.
