Life in prison is much more satisfying, plus it's humane. Abused, shamed and raped in prison for what they've done.

People who torture and kill others need to be removed from society.
Not all pedophiles fit that category so for some that would be too extreme.
By contrast a teen in Argentina recently was gang raped and then impaled and died. While her killers are likely not pedophiles I would be quite content with them being shot.
