Do you consider performing oral sex as a dominant position or submissive one?

I personally have always seen giving oral sex to the other person as a deep form of dominance because you are the one in control of their body and how you make them feel. Some people say they think being the one to give oral makes them submissive but I don't see how. It actually puts women in a lot of control even if they are on their knees, and giving women oral is one of the easiest ways to subdue them. I see definite dominance in this.

  • Well, let's look at this i a logical manner. It can be submissive. It can be dominating. It can be neither. Now there are a few different definitions of submissive and dominant. 1.) In a vanilla relationship, with vanilla sex, submissive would probably mean ‘not in control of the act’ and dominant would mean ‘in control of the act’. In this case, it's actually more likely that the receiver of the oral would be considered submissive, as usually the giver takes control. But it could go either way. 2.) In a BDSM setting, there is usually an understood dominant and understood submissive; and there is almost always an understood dominant of a scene. In this case, if the submissive is giving the oral it is submissive, if the dominant is giving the oral it is dominant. 3.) Where the line might be blurred would be a non BDSM relationship where kinky sex is taking place. Take my relationship with my girlfriend for example. we always go straight into 69 position, laying on are sides. after the kickoff point, let it be just something that was planned or something that we just flowed in to from some making out or some conversation that just evolved in to something sexual. In this there is not a dominant position or submissive position, it is kept neutral. In a sexual relationship, the dominant or submissive role is not always clear. In the end all that's really important, is "NO" one's right to orgasm is more important than the other person's. "Don't be a jack ass!"
