In a school environment, it is ifc predatory & wrong. If the student is an adult & the teacher is nor an unreasonable amount older - 30 with 18 yo student is still wrong.
If however I went back to "school" (32) and started dating one of my teachers, i don't see an issue with it, unless it had an impact on how we behaved during lessons.
Yes I have an issue with this. I'm not into any relationship where someone is an adult and the other is under 18. Period. Regardless of their sex. The fact that she's a teacher makes this even worse.
what if they 18 17 or 18 and 16 or the younger one lies about age. An adult student and young teacher worse then 15 year old and 30 year old to me. its the abuse of power
At a high school, definitely. Statutory rape is still a crime, whichever person is the adult.
At college where both are over the age of consent then adults should be free to make their own decisions. I had a friend who dated her lecturer at varsity and married him after graduation. Why shouldn't that be allowed? He made sure he wasn't on her examination panel for her practical so he couldn't be accused of unethical conduct.

I have a problem with adults raping kids (teenagers legally cannot give consent so it's at least statutory rape) Regardless of gender or either person. Regardless of whether or not the kid "wanted it" or initiated it.
I was a teenager not that long ago and there were adults I found really hot and absolutely would have slept with given the chance. Now looking back on that, I am so incredibly glad none of those adults were disgusting enough to allow that. I'm only 22 and I already see 15-18 year olds as kids.
