Yes I believe that would be an incorre t assumption. One of my close friends had sex for the first time a few months ago, and greatly regretted it.

Another main reason I believe young men can regret sex is that I wouldn't be surprised if many young men have sex while they're drunk/not making very conscious decisions.

Annnd yet another possible reason is that a young man may just be wildly horny and get talked into sex because of that rather than because of an emotional connection.
