Does a big bulge definitely mean big penis?

Or are there optical illusions and tricks guys use?

  • Not necessarily, no.

    Some guys have a decent sized flaccid dick, but it won't really grow all that much when he gets hard. Some guys have a smaller flaccid, but grow quite a bit when they are erect. So sometimes the smaller bulge ends up having the bigger erection.

    Balls can play a part, too; larger balls will contribute to a bigger bulge, even if his dick isn't that big. There are also different stylesof pants/underwear that can affect the way the bulge looks. Boxers let everything hang down, which can hide his true size, whereas boxers/briefs keep everything all bunched up, giving the illusion of a bigger bulge.

    Loose pants hide more than tight pants, do, too, but loose pants can also bunch up, creating a fake bulge. Then there are supposedly guys that will actually stuff socks in their underwear, to make themselves look bigger, lol. I've never seen that, but I imagine it would just look weird.

  • Not necessarily. Sometimes really short ones stick straight out and create the illusion of a big one. Sometimes really long ones hang straight down and make less of a bulge if the pants are looser.

    • I don't remember saying that, and if I did say that, it would be a lie. I'm just pointing out that it's common for women to pad their bras or wear shapewear to enhance their asses, or to get implants, etc., but somehow there's a stigma against men doing similar things. It's just a double-standard. Personally, I'm against padding and fake stuff all around.

  • Well, it more so depends on testicle size and position. A guy can be small and stick straight out. Or long and not be visible at all. You can tell what a guy has by the outline. If the testicles sit further back between the legs, then the penis isn’t pushed up against the fabric. If the testicles sit more forward, even if they were smaller, will push the penis up and form a bulge. For example, if they have testicles that are more forward. If they are smaller in loose fitting pants, you’ll notice more of a point. If they are longer it will be more curved because the penis is laying over the testicles. For testicles that are more back, if they are small you won’t see anything. If they are bigger you’ll notice the curve a bit. So it depends. 🤷‍♂️

  • Big bulge is a pretty good indicator, but on the odd occassion I've heard of guys doing stupid stuff like stuffing a sock down there. I don't think its common though because at some point or another she's going to see the real thing and be disappointed if you were stuffing it with a sock :P

    Just because its small when soft doesn't mean it will still be small when hard, equally just because it looks, lets say average soft doesn't mean it will be any or much bigger hard.

  • Not always, but I would think that it is a decent indication. I can't speak for any dude's bulge but my own. I'm happy to say that I'm fairly well endowed.
