From a guy's perspective the answer is yes, depending upon the position. Depending on the length of her legs, I cannot just bend her over and do doggy on her. Her legs are too long, or she is too tall, or I am too short.

If she is at least two inches short than me, then I can bend her over and get all the leverage I need no problem. But if she is too short, it can be a challenge in missionary to kiss her. But that 2-inch shorter than me seems to be best.

But shorter is always better than taller in my opinion.

I'm 6'2. I had one particular girlfriend who was 5'1" and hypersexual. Sex with her was amazing. I could lift her up and bounce her up and down. Size difference didn't make any position awkward. For me and my ex it was. I am 5'7 and she a 5'11 with long legs. During missionary I couldn't easily kiss her, my mouth was closer to her neck. Standing up was also almost impossible. There were many other inconveniences here and there
