The test itself; while clever, it was not really as airtight in design as it initially seems.
Like when you look at the z-score table (which in simple terms: plots the answers of the people with small and large penises against the rating they gave the sports car) there really isn't a lot of data gathered from older men.
The study itself points out that the difference in preference towards sports cars didn't start until after the age of 30. But the number of responses drops like a rock after that age.
By the way, the way they separated the small penis people from the large was extremely questionable. Like every small penis person could potentially have 8 inch long monster cocks kind of questionable.
They basically just said "alright we told this group of people the average penis size is bigger than it really is so you guys are gonna act like people with small penises and the other group we did the opposite" which obviously is a pretty bad foundation for this study.
Again, they didn't measure people's dicks, they didn't ask, they didn't look for biological or psychological markers. What they did doesn't even fall under the category of an educated guess. (if you ask me)
The method for filtering the results was unclear. And when you look at the z-score table, the point cloud doesn't really seem to fit with their conclusions.
I'm not a mathematician but look at that table and then look at the median lines they drew. There's something funny going on with how they filtered the results because you can clearly see that there's barely any difference at all. And there's a lot of guys "with big penises" and yes I meant those quotes as a way of communicating sarcasm, who rated the car very low.
Another big factor that I feel is being ignored is they never really talked about the actual participants. They said the test was done through an online program, does that mean these people were sourced from the internet similar to a GAG poll? If so, wouldn't you expect most of the guys older than 30 who just found out that the average penis size is 7 inches to rate the sports car a little higher?
There were more older men in the "small penis" group, which considering how the groups were made in the first place is kinda weird right? And just from looking at the point cloud, it genuinely seems pretty similar and like it could have been more similar if more "long penis group" members were allowed in consideration.
What disqualified their answers was never disclosed. Or even an explanation for why there are less answers from the older men on that half of the group.
In short, this is one of the most poorly executed papers I've ever read. Don't get me wrong, it was very clever and is worth a read. But it was not very well thought out and were going to need hundreds more like it to be able to compile true meaning.
If this is scientifically evident, then why do women enjoy fast cars? Penis envy? Why do men with large penises enjoy fast cars? Why do sexually immature children enjoy fast cars? Ell oh ell! The thing about pseudoscience is that once you set out to prove a point, you almost always do. It’s called confirmation bias and it gives dummies everywhere the belief that science is on their side. That’s the reason that you see words like “research”, “science”, “data” and “statistics” all of the time on social media. Though too few people even know where to find research, let alone how to read it and qualify it.
Psychology is a soft science at best, and those tools didn’t even attempt to sort out the whys and wherefores of their results. Possibly because they knew they’d end up countering their own conclusions in the process. They published because they knew the reports would be popular and most idiots don’t have the critical thinking skills to challenge what they’re being told, even if they wanted to.

If you can’t prove cause or effect, “correlation” is just the key word used by propagandists to make their narratives sound official or scientific. Okay but there's no proof that correlation cuts both ways. Yes, guys with small pee pees may be more attracted to fast cars. But that doesn't mean guys who like fast cars must have small pee pees. Guys with big pee pees probably prefer fast cars too. Fast cars are cool.
And there's a difference between hobbyists who engage with car culture, and genuinely appreciate the engineering and performance of mid to high end cars. I follow a Youtuber who basically does nothing but drive round the Nordschleife in fast cars all day, and you can see his passion for it. That's big peepee energy if you ask me haha..
