Well girl, you and I are 100% in agreement. The idea of "it has to be shaved" by default has become so bad and systematic and done without thought that it carries over into almost every relationship out there. I remember when things were to the point with a past girlfriend that we decided to have sex. She said "I have to shave first" to which I said why? She was blown away.
