Girls-- has a guy ever rejected you for sex?
How did you feel?
Yes I have been, and I think culturally there’s a double standard for this.
In a relationship if a girl doesn’t want sex with a guy, he’s supposed to accept it and get over it.
If guy doesn’t sex with a girl, it seems to be socially acceptable for the guy to be in the wrong. On the odd occasion I have been rejected it, I’ve just accepted he doesn’t want to have sex and moved on, but I have several friends who have told me their boyfriend has turned down sex and they go and bitch about to their girlfriends.
If men bitched about women not putting out, you can bet your bottom dollar people would be crying sexism and misogyny.
Sorry to rant a bit there!
I was a virgin at 35 when I was introduced to him, and we developed a strong bond which has lasted till today. I wanted him to be my first, but he did strongly refuse on moral grounds. We remained very close friends at a strictly platonic level, and after 10 long years of our friendship, in a moment of weakness, he succumbed. It happened very silently and suddenly and quite unexpectedly; and our already strong bond was further strengthened that unforgettable Thursday night.
Uh okay
sounds gay
@mook123 Not at all gay. He is 22 years older, married with children and grand children. His marriage has become sexless for some time, and he was unsure if he might be able to perform. This, and his moral principles about his marriage vows led him to refuse to begin with. In me he saw a person he loved and who genuinely loved him, and whom he could trust to understand his issues, and sincerely try to help him deal with himself.
I never really just wanted "sex" from a guy. I had feelings for a guy, but I wished I did not... but I called him and told him I had feelings and he said he did not feel the same. That was the only rejection that I really felt because I crushed on him for 6 or 7 years. I want more than sex from a guy, I want a deep meaningful relationship that would last forever.
Not quite what I meant, but alright.
My first boyfriend turned me down at times.
Some of the things he would say were "we don't have to do it all the time," And I got offended.. We were teens and sure he can say that, because he always got an orgasm, but I was horny all the time because he didn't give me much.
Wow. Even girls get turned down by guys !😱
I did reject my girlfriend sexual avances a couple of times - once I was too tired, and the other time we had just had a pretty animated argument and I was still too upset for it.
And another time she tried to come up on me during a discussion because she didn't want to discuss the problem.
I've turned down, either not interested in her and her current state, or at that time I wasn't feeling good about myself.
Not feeling good about yourself?
correct, time in earlier life no girl could get to me, even a really attractive one, I'd shut down under my own image of "not worthy"... poison to a girl. that was me issues, childhood junk that needed... dealt with. Im much better now, took long time.

Umm yea a few times by my boyfriend when he was too tired or just not in the mood. Not really a big deal.
Yup. He was turned off by my acne
My husband rejects at least twice a week
Why?
Cuz I'm always asking he says it gets annoying.
Damn. If he doesn't want sex, something may be wrong.
In my relationship, yeah. He hasn't always been in the mood.
