  • It would make me feel naked~ which would be ok if everyone was used to being naked but we are taught to cover our bodies, so o would feel uncomfortable.

    I don’t want to feel like I’m making statement about nudity or sex or body positivity every time I want to go in the water. It’s draining.

    • @Paige90 Actually I’m not comfortable in Bikinis bc they are like underwear. It is very arbitrary that underwear is ok then not ok. I find it annoying and I prefer to not deal with the whole thing ~ so I do not wear bikini in public but I wear them or nothing at all in private. I see nothing wrong with it is just too much hassle for me bc of the culture I live in. There’s too much assumed “ reason” behind it. I don’t want my clothing being psychopathologized whereas I am comfortable with my body.

    • I would be ok were I on a nude beach I suppose, where it is “normal” and no one assumes I’m wearing or not wearing something to make a point or attract attention or represent , etc

  • I don't even wear regular bikinis because I don't see why, if I won't go in public in my underwear, I would wear publicly what is essentially specialized underwear. This is even more revealing than underwear

    I personally see them as very nasty-looking wedgie! (I wouldn't be able to tolerate it!)

  • I'm in the same boat as you. I have pretty much only thong bikinis maybe 1 or 2 Brazilian style.

    I find them way comfier as they dont bunch up so I'm not constantly pulling them out my ass.

    They also give the best tan lines , sexy tan lines which actually look good with the lingerie I wear instead of having massive white bum cheeks which I hate.

    Feeling naked is lovely and you feel free and sexy.

  • Honestly I have been away several times over the years and as of 3 years ago iv started only taking thong bikinis with me.

    Main reasons. Super comfy and no wedges from bikinis bunching up.

    Sexy tan lines rather than putting on some thongs for the evening and having a white bum.

    They feel sexy and I feel sexy wearing them with my boyfriend loving staring at my ass. I feel amazing in them and he knows that. If other peoples husbands look so what. I love a girl in a thong bikini.

    I'm away at the minute and I got my friend to pick my bikinis and in stuck in tiny little thongs, but hey it's great and my tan lines 🔥

  • I won't wear a thong bikini cuz I don't like exposing myself like that. I think it shows too much and takes the mystery out of dating etc. I like highlighting my beauty without giving out too much. If a guy need to see more he got to do more first. I like using cover ups it gives a guy a glimpse of what he could have... after all everything we do and say is to attract the right people to our lives.

  • Samantha, if you have the figure that is enhanced by these, then I think it is your prerogative to choose the style you desire. However I think you should be careful where you decide to show them off in. Like family oriented beaches you should maybe think differently!

    No question these thongs are designed to get noticed. In the right place you will get noticed and that is probably why you enjoy the look.

  • Why not give the guys something to think about instead of being so obvious with yourself? I don't wear bikinis because they are too overly revealing! It is almost as if you're completely naked and that's not the right image for a classy female who isn't a slut. Decent women should carry themselves in a appropriate manner. All rapists and horny freaks have this "self entitled" mentality and they look at everything in a sexual kind of way. If a "pervy" disrespectful dude approaches you and decide to sexually assault you while you're wearing a bikini or talk dirty to you like you're prostitute; and you get upset and try to defend yourself; the first thing they are gonna say is... "IT'S YOUR FAULT BECAUSE YOU ARE TEMPTING OTHERS BY FLASHING YOUR BODY OUT IN THE OPEN! YOU NEED TO COVER YOURSELF UP UNLESS YOU WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE BEING SEEN AS A SEX OBJECT!" Bikinis are an invasion of privacy; just like mini skirts, corsets, and other provocative outfits! If I had a super model figure and the perfect skin; I would still refuse to wear a binki! My answer will still be the same as it is right now in reality; with my extremely noticeable and unattractive bodily imperfections!

  • I’m not a fan, plus they are illegal on all my favorite beaches! I prefer BRAZILLIAN cut bikinis! It’s kinda half way between a thong and a full coverage bikini!
