Like, it's not "they don't think it hurts" -- it's "they've never had occasion to think about whether it hurts".

That, and, ignorance. Lots of boys yr age don't really know exactly what's going on with the lady parts -- esp with regard to sensitivity -- so, it's probably just kind of a void, in their minds.
Any boy who *knows* female anatomy -- especially from having stimulated it himself -- will definitely draw the obvious conclusions about having those sensitive areas whacked.

Hm. Well, you should... educate whoever is being a stupidface about this. Just tell it like it is. If anything, I think more men have a blind spot about how much it hurts to get hit in the tits, especially at certain times of the month. @Asker im not sure, like 5? 6? I was a shrimp when i was younger and she was taller than me and kept picking on me... and i'd seen a lot of guys get kicked in the nuts by what i now call "curious" little girls... so i figured. She shoved me and as i was falling back, i let loose of my soccer foot... she dropped down.. hard. It was the last time she picked on me. Don't get me wrong, i'd STILL do the same thing today... IF some girl actually manages to hit the soft spot. Over the years, I've learned to contain the pain, just long enough to repay the favor, but i don't think the assailant has. also learned how to prevent it from happening so i don't have to commit that particular act as well :)

I think it's harder to hit the vaginal area just right in the way that's immensely painful since its between our legs, rather than out front like the male genitals. So people see chicks get hit on the "mound" and think it's the same... But it's totally not!

its not that they think it doesn't hurt its that it doesn't hurt as bad as getting kicked in the testicles (it doesn't, some research has suggested getting hit in the groin is the same level of pain as giving birth) the fact is most of the vagina is skin for men the reproductive organs being outside of the body means they are more exposed to damage and therefore more sensitive in order to ensure pain avoidence thus protecting the organ.

It's the testicles though that are the big deal. Sometimes even a light bump on the wrong angle is brutal. It isn't because they're 'sensitive' because the penis has a lot more feeling. But there's some special reaction testicle hits bring on. It's almost more nausea than pain. That's why so often guys hy there are doubled over.

What we mean is it doesn't hurt quite as much as getting kicked in the balls or groin does, the vagina is also easier to protect and harder to hit then our area but I'm not ignorant enough to say that it wouldn't hurt a woman to get kicked there at all, I mean it's still a sensitive and vulnerable spot regardless of gender.

Any sort of blunt force to a person will hurt, regardless of gender or body part. Although, I can understand what some guys are thinking. Because of our "balls", when we get hit, it can and does hurt. That's why every guy in the world takes 5 minutes to recover from a blow to the balls. As for women, they don't have balls down there - at least I don't think they do.
