A chemical engineer? Why aren't they asking a microbiologist or a virologist? Seriously, that is like asking a plumber to take a look at your electrical circuits. Not saying that they aren't knowledgeable in that area; but it isn't their personal expertise. I hate it when news articles use experts outside of their fields.

I doubt that; I probably know more than her about viruses with my BS in Biology. She is a chemist; virus are biological.

last week there were 1000 new cases in the uk where we have been in lockdown for three months which is now easing... yesterday in america there was 37600 new reported cases so maybe this is a case of the opinion giver not realizing the rest of the world is reaping the benefits of having a strict lockdown in place for so long
