It depends on how old she is. An 18 year old who has had 20 sexual partners is different from a 28 or 35 year old who has had that many.

In general, though, I don't care. I place zero value on virginity or "purity". Virgins tend to have religious, cultural, or other sexual hang ups, and don't place much value on sexuality. I have more respect for happy women with strong libidos who are eager to experience the joys of life (not just sexually). And they are willing to safely explore pleasure without inhibition.

So 20 sexual partners wouldn't necessarily bother me unless she had done it out of low self esteem or low self regard, such as being a self destructive skank or prostitute.
However, her experiences could just as well have been selective and an indication of independence, self confidence and a joy for living.

Honestly, out of all my girlfriends, I never once asked about their body count and none ever asked about mine. For me, that would be a red flag.

I always made my own assessment of a girl's personality and values at the time we started seeing each other. I didn't care about a resume or background check.

And as far as marriage is concerned, I looked at it as the most important decision of my life. So I had to be ready to settle down and be sure that she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. In that case, her personality and values were paramount. But, honestly, her past wouldn't be that important because we all take different paths to gaining the maturity to become who we are.

Why the heck this is a gender issue? I don't give a damn what the gender is. I wouldn't want to be with someone who had 20 plus partners. Its gross regardless of the gender.
