Yeah, when I was a kid, my mom had no concern for my privacy and would often just burst into my room without knocking or anything. One day, a friend came over and she burst in my room with my friend. "Your friend came to visit you!" I was luckily under a blanket, but completely naked and had to ask them to leave the room and close the door so I could get dressed. I was probably 12 years old, but had to sit down with my mom to have a talk. There was a fair amount of that, in my childhood. Trying to convince my parents to knock before entering rooms, turning off lights when they aren't using them, not wasting food... It was a weird backwards relationship.
