I have seen my parents have sex at least twice. The first time it happened, I was just starting high school during the summer of 2005. We moved into a small house for a short time. That late night before the first day of school, I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. To get to the bathroom, I had to walk down a hallway and past my parents' bedroom. The house was dark except a dim nightlight in my parents room. When I walked past their room, I saw that the door was cracked. Through the dim illumination of the nightlight, I was able to see both my parents having sex in the doggy position. Because I didn't turn on any hall lights, they didn't notice me or hear me walking to and from the bathroom. Oddly enough, I wasn't traumatized by the sight of it or anything. I just quickly looked away when I actually saw what was going on, walked back to my room, went to sleep, and never mentioned it until this post.

The second time was more recent and more awkward than before. This took place last year. We had a big family gathering at my parents' house last Christmas. It was something like a party that lasted until the night with just family members. After a while, everybody else went home, but my grandparents, sister and her kids, brother, and I stayed over for the night. My sister's daughter, my young 3-year-old niece, woke up late at night and wanted her grandmother's attention because that's how toddlers are. My sister was sleep, but I was still awake and followed my niece to ensure that she wouldn't go running around the house causing trouble as kids her age usually do. She barges into my parents' room and I follow right behind her. At that moment, I saw my parents really going at it and I gasped. They looked surprised and I was surprised. I grabbed my niece, apologized, closed the door, and put her back to sleep. The next morning was more light-hearted. We ended up joking about it and I remember saying something like "the kids weren't the only ones on the naughty list."

I was about 17. I had woken up sick during the night. I went to my parents room to tell my mom I wasn't going to school in the morning. I could see the light on under the door. I knocked and walked in. My dad was sitting up in bed, with his book on his lap. Still half asleep, I said " mom, I'm sick and staying home tomorrow" I heard a muffled ok. Now go back to bed. Once I got back to my room , I realized it had come from under the covers. My mom was giving my dad a blowjob. I never went in their at night again !

No, never and I am happy not to have been traumatized at a younger age by having to witness those activities.

They had the decency not to subject their children with any sexual activities as long as we were at home. My parents did not want to be associated with acts that could be seen as pornographic by children and young teens.

I am very thankful to my parents that I was never subjected to that type of traumatizing experience and to have had the decency to refrain from this type of activity.

I didn't have to see my parents because my mother was a twisted individual who shared everything with me in full details it was very scarring and I needed therapy for it

Yes, my mother and stepfather (her first marriage to my dad ended and I never remember them together at all, I was very young). But my stepfather was really into sex. They had it often, and he filmed it and took photos. Nasty. Some things should stay private, not be shown to family members.

yes I walked on them when I was 13 they were doing it on the hard living room floor my mother was riding my dad like a cowgirl both totally naked and they didn't stop they just said what are you doing home.

It's weird because my mom and dad love each other very dearly but aren't together. Ever since I was born...
I've walked in on my mom and a man I didn't like on the bed when the door was cracked open from a cord. I was 10 and was very confused about what happened. I woke up the next day of no recollection of how I went to bed.
I really don't want to experience that again.

Yes. Heard not visual (thank goodness) I was 16 I think. Didn’t care. Good for them. Means they have a healthy happy relationship where they find each other sexually appealing
