How does an erection feel for guys?

Lol I know this sounds like a weird question but I'm really curious. How does an erection feel for guys? Do you get the urge to have sex right at that moment? What do you do to make it go away when it happens in the wrong place and at the wrong time?

  • Not all erections are sexual. They can happen just randomly when you don't feel horny at all or when you wake up. Your penis just gets hard for a little while and then it goes away.

Physically, you just feel a tightness and firmness in that area. You feel it press up against your clothes. You can also feel the weight of it when you stand up. Just having an erection is neither pleasurable or painful in itself. It's just there.

I think the urge to have sex usually leads to an erection way more often than the other way around.

If you want it to go away, you can't really make it go away. The best you can do is just ignore it and not think about it and it usually goes away in time.

  • Thats a good question. Even in lose clothes, its a bit of a tight feeling. Urinating becomes range finding calculational analysis so you dont make a mess everywhere and its really awkward when its public or around other women. I usually shift my position a bit or hide it with an object. I had it happen during a co-ed swimming event. Not fun. I dove deep under water and stayed for as long as I could to hide it. No, contrary to popular belief, not every guy thinks about sex or boobs every 7 seconds. Healthy men get erections without physical or visual stimulation. As far as making it go away? Time, imagining getting kicked in the nuts or thinking about something complex or intense usually helps.

  • Probably the same way an erection feels for a woman. When a female is aroused the clitoris engorges and becomes erect, the same as a penis does. So if you know what that feels like I'm certain it's the same.

  • It's just blood rushing to a place, and no it doesn't mean you've/get the urger to've sex right then and there.

Personally I found angling it towards the brim of my shorts (far enough away not to pop up, yet close enough so that my brim can keep it in place and disguise it). After 2 minutes or so, it goes away.

  • It has its ups and downs, but generaly feels good

  • Not exactly. There was one time I was walking around in middle school from class to bathroom and back. When I got back, my friend told me I have a stiffy. I didn't notice until he said something. At times it could be there and it's awkward because you're not turned on but it decides to reveal itself publicly. Sometimes it could turn into wanting sex. That's usually morning wood though

  • 1 word of advise never waste a good hard-on

  • They're awesome until you realize you have to pee. Then you find yourself making projectile calculations in the bathroom so as not too make a mess.
