If there is a need for sex, then the relationship is doomed to fail on the long run. Fornication is the number one reason why people cheat on each other, lie and separate.

Remove the copulation and you remove the reason why people should cheat on each other. Also, it is seldom that both partners have the same urges at the same time. Thus, there will always be the one or the other that will feel obligated to fulfill a duty in order to attempt to prevent the partner from cheating.

Thus, as soon as fornication becomes a priority, so will the risk of cheating.
