It depends on where you live. most places in the USA are "at will" work places which means they can just fire you because they feel like it with no reason at all. But, if they can show that your reputation from having Only Fans had damaged their reputation and lost them sales/profit and you didn't disclose that you were on there in writing BEFORE they hired you, your employer can then actually sue you for damages.
The only way you could legitimately sue them would be if you had an employment contract (like people get when working for a union based company) and there was no code of conduct in the employee handbook.0 0 0 0

Depends where you are and what reason was given.
In my state a "right to work state" no reason needs to be given to fire someone or let them go. If someone fights back, the most they can get is unemployment benefits, if they win. Which companies seem to hate but its not as expensive as a wrongful termination lawsuit which generally has to violate state or federal laws against discrimination.
You would have a uphill battle to prove they fired you due to a protected class and having a Onlyfans is not a protected class.
Outside activities can reflect poorly on a business and cost it money if customers find out.
Only way to know for sure though is to contact a Labor Attorney and consult with them about it.0 1 0 0Thanks
Good luck, I used to have a OF myself, before I gave it up.
Y is that?
Excuse the language but that is fucking ridiculous!!! As long as your being professional and respectful at your workplace then you've done nothing wrong! It's not like you're flashing your tits at every customer that you serve! I have an OnlyFans too and to be honest, I'm making 3 times as much per month on OnlyFans than I do my day job. If you're like that then your boss probably figured it out and fired you because you get more money from OnlyFans. Check to see if your boss or any of your colleagues are one of your subscribers, that probably how he knew.

You can have a free consultation with most lawyers and they'll let you know if they feel you have a case or not. But depending on your job, and if you referenced them at all (or your account can make them look bad to the public), is usually the only time you'd be fired for that. But I don't know if it would be worth your time to pursue or not as they will likely deny it (if it wasn't legit) and just give another more vague reason for your release. But that's just my opinion, see a lawyer if you feel strongly about it. They'll tell you.

12 47Doubtful… certainly not if your employer found out, they have to assume that their clients have too! I mean to be fair, this is America, you can always sue, the question is will you win? And with something like that, it is doubtful that you will prevail at trial (assuming that your case isn’t tossed on summary judgment, long before trial.)
0 0 0 0It depends on your employer. In most instances, an employer can let go an employee if it is an at will employment. Contracts work a little different in most states
0 0 0 0Really?
Like I said, every state is different. Perhaps consider a consultation with an attorney wherever you live. Your employer will likely have other reasons. If you were a contractual worker, things might be different
Well, change your shirt next time😁
You can not sue unless you can prove that you aren't a Ho. Only Fans is not a good start for that.
0 1 0 0It's going to depend on the employment laws of your country and whether or not you broke companies policies. Many companies have a reputation claus in employment contracts that let them fire you if you bring them in to disrepute or bad publicity. The fact men are turning up at your job, obviously looking for sex, puts other female employees at risk. Your employer has a legal duty of care therefore they were right to fire you.
0 1 0 0They dont look for sex? They want pics / autographs
They’re showing up at your day job, which is what the big deal is.
Do you really think guys who wank over your naked videos just want an autograph?
No. They have every right not to employ you if you do crap like that. How many simps have been wiping your ass for you that you think you can sue a company for being a lazy E-whore and embarrassing your company? How much potential money would your company have lost if customers found out one of their employees was a lazy predatory E-whore online?
Someone posting sexy pics on Facebook is one thing, but doing half-assed pseudo sex-work for lazy and sh*tty people, is not grounds for "discrimination." Maybe the simps should be able to sue you and OnlyFans for their pathetic, life-ruining sex addictions?
I mean, I try not to be an asshole here to people's situations, but OnlyFans truly is some next level "collapse of Western civilization" sh*t. Healthy societies don't have a f*cking OnlyFans or simp culture in them.
Also, why TF even have a day job if you're being an E-whore anyway?0 1 0 0Health insurance.
You can buy your own health insurance. Or just lie to the government and claim you're unemployed to get on Medicaid, since OnlyFans pseudo-sex workers don't pay taxes, anyway.
(Apparently, even OF does that for you. www.reddit.com/.../)It’s easy to see how hard you work not to be a jerk to people! I agree that OnlyFans is not a boon to society; nor is it an asset to one’s legitimate employer. One might express those things, however, without laboring to give offense.
Yes its discrimination.
During a background check, those things pop up. Onlyfans and camming are shown in your history.0 0 0 1The person you're looking for is a labor lawyer. You've gotten some decent advice/insight from the comments but the real sauce is that this company doesn't want a lawsuit. You don't need to have the strongest case, you just need to convince them that for very little effort on your part, you can cost them more money than you'd want to settle.
Talk to a labor lawyer to come up with a plan, I've seen it work pretty well for some people.0 0 0 0Probably not. But it would depend on if a state had a law that keeps employers out of personal choices. It would also depend on if it's a union job. Some union contracts protect you from being fired except for certain relevant reasons.
0 0 0 0I don't think so, but you MIGHT be able to.
How is it that your employers became aware of your Only Fans site?
Also, what was your job and in what industry? These are important questions related to your ability to sue.0 0 0 0Im a Starbucks barista. And guys were asking for me when they came
How did your Only Fans fans learn where you worked? If this created drama at your Starbucks, this would be problematic.
I took photos at work before and i guess they found out by the pics..
You can sue anyone you like.. You won't win though.
0 0 0 0Y not _
Have you got your original contract form you signed when you took the job?
No. didn't keep it
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA IDIOT AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHHA
ALL YOU ARE GOING TO DO IS BRING MORE ATTENTION TO YOURSELF SO I WOULD SUGGEST YOU JUST LEAVE IT BE!!! THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T DO THIS STUFF BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
OH MY GOHS TOO GOOOD. YOU MUST NOT MAKE MUCH OVER THERE TO BE SO UPSET ABOUT YOU RJOB LOSS AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHA0 2 0 0I need health insurance for my kids
Asker... You made your own choices. I feel bad for your kids having to suffer your shitty life decisions. But you can't see you did something that was immoral and you want to make yourself the victim. If you came out and said you felt bad about it and were sorry about it then this would be another story
:'( .
Yes you can, It your job didn't had the clause of any other work profile.
0 0 0 0Nope, there is this thing called personal conduct. What you can do is learn a vital life lesson.
0 0 0 0Basically. She did something that made her job, look bad. It's about image, which s funny because that's exactly what she was selling, her image
Gonna need a lot more information. But probably not
0 0 0 0@anonymous if you wore their logo on onlyfans your sol. Nal
You might have a case depending on labor laws. Some places may have laws that allow a business to protect its reputation by removing employees engaging in certain activities publicly. I mean weve seen people fired in the USA for simply having a certain political affiliation. It really depends on factors.
0 0 0 0Hire a lawyer or someone who knows what they are doing first to look into it. Depends on what evidence you have
0 0 0 0A company can fire you for any reason or no reason. But in these days where everyone spies, you have to exercise due diligence.
0 0 0 0Oh well :/ at least i made 7 k so far on only fans
Do not list your former employer as a reference.
Probably not. In most jobs, the employee serves "at the pleasure of" the employer, and the employer can legally dismiss you for any reason. An exception is if the employee is part of a union, in which case the union contract usually specifies that an employee can only be terminated "for cause", meaning they've done something in serious violation of company rules.
0 0 0 0Re: your update. Wearing a company shirt in the OF video makes it look like your company supports and approves your actions on OF, and that is definitely not the case. It was totally justified in firing you.
Wow :'(
I wouldn't say so, it's their company and they have the rights to fire you if they want
0 1 0 0Really?
Yep, I don't think they need a reason to fire you
Lol then it makes sense
Delete OF.
0 1 0 0Hells no
Are fucking mad!!! OF racks in more money for me than my day job does!
