Let me copy/paste a reply I have given to a similar question. I am aware that at least 2 girls here will be bitching about my reply. Here it comes.

Moaning has absolutely no reason to be.

This is the result of what the porn industry makes people believe has to be for fornication to be enjoyable. It is purely fantasy, just like everything that is shown on those deviant clips.

All acts on those clips are fakes and so are the moaning, grunting, cursing and other physical attributes. Those do not correspond to reality. Those artificially created sounds are all made to make people believe they are part of reality, which is obviously not.

So if a girl or guy screams, curses or moans during copulation, it is because the porn industry has made a fine job to let them believe that it has to be. It just shows how much porn is negatively impacting people's daily life by filling their brains with
facts that have no grounds or scientific proof.

I am sure you can "enjoy" yourself without waking up the entire neighborhood.

Honestly, I really think it all depends on the woman!

Personally, I moan during sex partly because it gets ME more excited!

It’s about getting lost in the moment, about expressing passion, excitement, pleasure and just letting go of all your inhibitions. It’s about letting your partner know what they’re doing right and wrong, but despite what a previous poster has said, women have been moaning during sex, way before the introduction of the video porno!

That being said plenty of women fake it and some are just quieter than others and of course you don’t have to let the whole block know what you’re up to. If you’re concerned, ask the woman if you can have sex with someone it can’t be hard to ask them about it!

Plus guys seem to love it when a woman moans because then HE knows she’s enjoying herself!

Which is also why it's super weird if the guy doesn't moan. I've had several guys to be silent during sex, where I had to talk with them about it.
