If you mean in general, like in the abstract: "I would like to have sex with a (non-specific)18 year old girl"... then I would say that... No, that's not bad at all. I mean "barely legal" IS a popular porn category... nobody's judging you. (well... at least I'm not judging you).

But... if you're talking about "I want to have sex this THAT particular 18 year old girl, and am wondering if It's bad if I try and make that happen"... then... things get a lot more complicated.

So I mean, legally you're good. We as a society have said that "18 means she's an adult when it comes to sex". But your question (as I interpret it) is more of a moral one.

I think whether this is wrong or not; is ENTIRELY dependent on the specifics of the situation. It depends a whole lot on what kind of girl we're talking about, how mature she is in terms of physical and emotional experience; what your intentions are; whether or not you're being totally honest about those intentions; and a whole host of other things that are going to be situation-specific.

I don't think that there's actually any easy or universal answer to this.

First of all, I feel like just the fact that you're asking whether it's right or not speaks well to your character, and what kind of guy you are. You're not looking to do it if it's wrong. Or at least, you're wanting to take whether it's wrong or not... into your calculations. That's a good thing for sure.

On the other hand... the fact that you're asking makes me think that, at least a part of you is thinking... that maybe it WOULD be wrong. Perhaps your only worried
about
I honestly I cannot tell you which way I think you should go on this. I guess all I can say is; to go with your instincts. Think about how young 18 is, and the likely ramifications for this girl if you were to have sex with her. You DO definitely bare more responsibility when it comes to not knowingly hurting this girl because of the age difference.

If she's of legal age, and you've done nothing to coerce her, I suppose it's okay. Have you had sex with women close to your own age? What was the problem? Otherwise, using an 18 year old girl to complete some sort of fantasy is not fair to her- unless she's a hooker. Then all bets are off.

Yeah I only work with her. So we just know each other that way. No I have done nothing to coerce her. I fancy her but I find it hard to show her. I'm afraid that she will think that I am too old and that she could reject me.

Women have less of an issue with age than guys. I've seen a lot of posts stating "I'm 20 and the guy I'm interested in is 30. Is this a problem?" No, it's most likely not a problem. In your case, your 18 year old heart throb might have the idea of dating an older and more experienced guy. I suggest that you ignore her age (she's legal) and treat her like any other girl that you're interested in.
