Is it more acceptable to be sexually open as a male or a female?

Is it more acceptable to you for females or males to be open sexually?
I have noticed that there tends to be a double standard between the two.
Females do tend to be far more open sexually; be it through what they try with their male partners, or through experimentation with the same sex. Perhaps due to it being more acceptable?
Do you think it should be equally acceptable to both?
Should we all be allowed to experiment in what ways we like without societal pressures and criticism?
Or is it truly more acceptable for one sex (such as female), to be more open sexually than another?

Personally I think everyone should be open about it, it would certainly help to dispel stereotypes, and start allowing people to be seen as individuals.

Certain types of social preasures definitely contribute to people not being open sexually, and this can be different in different cultures.

Largely in western society people have the ability to be open about it, and it can usually be an equal split between men and women, but there are still constraints for some people such as religion.

I like to think I'm very open sexually, yet there are still some situations where I don't open up due to the mindset of the people around that are purely closed minded.

I'd say that it's definitely more acceptable for females. I'm not sure if it's just a societal thing here in the US. But there still is a stigma on guys experimenting. Most guys I think love the idea two girls together or a threesome with two girls. But not so much with two guys or a threesome with two guys. I think there's still that homosexual stigma. And you still get guys that think that if they do (receive) anything anal that that makes them gay somehow. And obviously that's bad.

I think it's fine for both males and females be open about sex experiment see what you like. If you don't try new thing you'd never know you may love it.

There are a few different ways I would classify it in this circumstance 1. Being the one that tends to be more open in straight sex scenarios ^ For example, women are often expected to try out anal sex. Whereas, a male in a female/male relationship would be looked down upon by many for wanting anal stimulation but also 2. Same sex related circumstances. Where it is clear females tend to be more open about it, and it tends to be more accepted.

Oh no, its not about liking it. But its about being open to it. So with anal sex, many women try it, and don't care for it. But its that openness of trying it that is often viewed as appealing. If a man were to be in a relationship with a woman, and say he wanted to be penetrated anally. It would have a completely different conotation Some might accept it, but many might question it. So in that case, the woman is more open (regardless if she likes it or not) and clearly there are cultural and societal influences on it But the man is not quite as open, maybe due to those limitations. Hopefully that makes sense
