Is it normal to feel a little aroused while posing in skimpy clothes?

I am from a conservative country where women hardly show their skin. People in my place think I am a slut for trying to become a model. I have always enjoyed attention from men when I showed skin. I recently had a photoshoot for lingere. I was very aroused during the shoot knowing that there would be billboards of me in lingere all over the city. Makes me think am I really a slut. Many people who are aroused by unusual things grew their appetites through sexual repression. It’s very common, although it’s not known for sure how fetishes develop, so you shouldn’t take this as a rule. Not all exhibitionists grew up in conservative regions, and not all people who were sexually repressed become exhibitionists.

    That said, the association between being seen in a sexy outfit and sexual feelings is very easy to understand! Even if you have a “thing” for it that makes it more intense, especially the first times that it happens to you, it’s quite an expected thing. You can decide what to do with it. If being seen turns you on, you can decide to make it part of your sexual life.

    As for the question whether you are a slut or not: that’s a made up word. It can mean whatever you want it to mean. If it’s a bad word for you, then I don’t think you are a slut. But some people like being called a slut. Hell, call me a slut any day and I’ll be happy. You decide what to do with the word because it doesn’t mean anything other than what you want it to mean. You can be a slut and be proud of it. Or you can reject the idea altogether, which is also fine.

  • Like so many things, the first question is what is "normal"? Many meanings and different people see it differently. Some women would refuse to be seen in skimpy clothes. Some would be seen but be very uncomfortable. Some see modeling clothes of all typse as just a job and do not feel anything other than "normal". And some get a bit of a kick out of being drooled over. One step furthe and ther are thos of you who get turned on doing it! That is not being a slut! You have not done anything that many consider slutty.
    What you are doing is enjoying being seen and admired. You enjoy knowing that guy are getting hard looking at you. But you have not touched them and not been touched by them, and from your question, they have not seen you nude or really close to it.
