I'm a creepy, disgusting old man - too bad. I've sexually engaged with many 16 and 17 year old girls over the years - 16 is the age of consent here, so no illegality involved - always consensual. All of them were perfectly able to make up their own minds. Most were exploring sex and wanted guidance, to feel safe in the hands of an experienced man they could trust. Some of the encounters involved intercourse, others didn't, but all these girls wanted to experience being intimately touched and fondled. They saw this as a rite of passage into womanhood. I did not groom these girls, quite the opposite. Word of mouth was sufficient. Each went at her own pace, I never judged, forced or coerced. The only issue is that he could possibly go to jail depending on where they live. Personally, I have no issues with large age gaps but I think it's best if the younger person is at least out of high school (or it's equivalent).
