  • Yes but I have only seen it in woman who are extremely hurt by men and give up on them.
But with the right chemicals you might be able to swing someone.

  • Honestly I think anyone could resort to having sex with someone outside of their sexual preference if they’re desperate enough. Look at how common homosexuality can be in prisons for example.

    • You think it has to do with desperation rather then actually liking the person?

    • Well obviously it does for some people considering how common same sex relationships and hookups are between otherwise straight men and women in the prison systems across the world, especially those that disallow conjugal visits from spouses. That is a pretty extreme situation though and doesn’t apply to most people.

  • Honestly to me, a sexuality is a preference. To be straight, gay, bi, or even ace is a preference. And as such with preference, it can be one's nature to enjoy it, or they can be nurtured into it.

It is possible based on this ideological principle, but I strongly discourage trying to consciously change somebody's sexuality.

    Though, any thoughts?

  • I think the official theory is people are born gay so no, that would not be possible.

  • Yes because what your into can always change through your life.

  • Lots of married people discover years into the marriage that they are attracted to someone of the same gender.

  • Sure is. Just like it is possible to choose what clothes you put on your back. It's a choice, nothing more or less.

  • if someone was straight. but then started to have gay feelings. I would say they are bisexual. but only more recently noticed it.

  • Sexuality is a very fluid thing and not set in stone

    • While it's probable to have a homosexual experience, sexuality itself is immutable. The person having the homosexual experience will likely have it only once... Maybe twice then that's it.

  • Bisexual possibly but I do'nt think totally gay..

  • No I don't think it's possible to just turn gay, it has a lot to do with biology. Basically you either are or are not... I mean sure you might have gay thoughts from time to time but it doesn't suddenly mean that you are gay.

  • No, they must have had the latent capacity in there all along.

  • No, they might realise they're gay after suppressing it or a straight person may engage in gay sex/relationships but they can't change their sexuality.

  • You see, a person who is straight has fixed characteristics. They naturally find Heterosexuality the most comfortable. They most likely will not turn gay.

  • I dont think you learn a sexual preference. It's inbuilt. But it may take a while to understand it. So someone who has been straight may realise they are attracted to the same sex later in life, or accept it if they have been fighting it (see Philip Schofield)

  • Honey you are born straight, being gay just kinda happens 😂

  • I think so, if they start seeing others of the same gender differently

  • Who knows. It could be possible

  • I don’t think if you can really “become gay”
you can’t help what gender you’re attracted to. You’re either gay or you’re not. But it’s normal to be confused or experimental

  • Only if you were bi curious or in denial
It's not smthng that develops in your 20s and more.
It's not a switch, you're either queer or not.
