The Supreme Court ruling in Lawrence vs. Texas (striking down Texas' law against homosexual acts) effectively invalidated all US laws against consensual sex acts between adults.
0 0 0 0What does that mean.
There were these things called "sodomy laws" that was just a way of targeting gay people having sex and shit.
It means that in the US adults can have sex with each other in any way they please. Any local laws that say otherwise are now invalid.
I have no idea, not that it would ever be enforced or anyone would obey that law anyway.

The Supreme Court case that overruled Bowers v. Hardwick also rendered this law unconstitutional (a fancy legal word for dead in the water).
2 1 0 0Oooh
Basically, no government in the US can make any law regulating or prohibiting the sexual behavior of two consenting adults in the privacy of their home.
Dw girl. You can go to DC and ride a hot guy till he makes you scream in orgasm and they can't even give you a ticket for it.
I guess it makes sex in DC hotter knowing it's ilegal lol

2 17If such a law does exist, it would clearly be ruled unconstitutional if challenged so it is difficult to imagine the DC police trying to enforce such a law.
0 0 0 0You know those smoke detectors that they make us have in our homes?
They're not really smoke detectors shh they see everything.1 1 0 0It doesn't strike me as entirely implausible.
I think laws like this got onto the statue books in the nineteenth century, and then have a tendency to just stay there, forgotten about and ignored.
Nobody thinks repealing them is worth the trouble, I guess?1 0 0 0Lol except that technically they're still valid😂 so what happens in you happen to ride your man.
Any judge that is super passionate about a law like that baffles me.
Really? That sounds horribly boring 😂
How do they enforce it anyways? Do they have professional window peekers that check for different positions? 😂😂😂0 0 0 0I hope not 😳
Wtf? I mean FBI is sneak attacking during sex is someone doing missionary?
1 1 0 0Can you imagine 😂
We recorded 95% of murders happened during sex was when the position was missionary. It has to be something about that position!
βοΈfor sure
They can't enforce that shit any more than they can enforce sodomy laws.
2 0 0 0nope, just in Utah 😂😂
