My mom had caught me doing it yesterday and got really mad. When she cooled down she explained to me that it’s ok to have those feelings around my period but it’s not ok to act on them. What does she mean?
I don’t understand. Those feelings do not go away unless I act on them though and I thought it was ok cause it’s not like I’m going to get pregnant from it right? And I searched up on Google it was normal for girls my age to do that stuff so why is my mom telling me it’s wrong and I shouldn’t.

It is completely okay with balance. Once you start doing to much of something till the point that balance is off then it becomes an issue. That is with everything in life. Too much of a drug , water, food , and activity can affect you negatively.

Some people think that masturbating is a sin. However, as a Christian I don't ascribe it as such. I have been through Laviticus (this is where all the sins are listed; which is why it is nicknamed "the Law") several times and no mention of masturbation. Other Christians can only seem to point to the New Testament and Paul's letters. Since I don't think Paul had the authority to create new sins I don't give much credence to those passages.
