Superb Opinion

  • No, it's not. It was when there were no condoms and no contraception. It's estimated that at over point 20% of the adults in London were infected with syphilis. Life speaks were much shorter. Young women we marrying in their mid-teens.

Today we have the means to prevent both STD transmission and unwanted pregnancy. We live much longer and many delay marriage into their mid-twenties or later. Few want to remain chaste for ten or more years after puberty.

  • Men see sexual fidelity as important since otherwise we have less assurity of paternity. We do have DNA tests now but that is a weak reed. If 2 of three children are yours it is worse than if none were.

So virginity is important to some men as it speaks to the woman's sexual morals.

It also speaks to how seriously a woman views marriage. I might think a virgin would be less likely to divorce me after 8 years and two kids to go find herself.

  • It all depends on the person themselves, how they feel about their own, and how they view it.

  • I don't know anyone for whom it is an important thing...

  • Important for what? I have mine but I don’t put it on the mantle or anything. It hasn’t won me any awards either.

    • It can win you a good husband, who want to marry a ho? virgin women are best.

  • Its certainly not important to me now , but it never really was , long term it doesn't matter.

  • Nope

  • Only to the person holding it and the person taking it. Beyond that no one cares accept the person who missed out on it.

  • To the person whose virginity it is.
it’s not like there is a big flashing light saying virgin, no one know apart from the girl, not her friends, her parents, nor her doctor.

  • I don't want used goods, I don't want a ho that jumped from D to D, so yea it's important.

    Is virginity important?
    • So are you still a virgin?

    • Unfortunately, the statement is not entirely true. Lot of women lose their hymen without even knowing it. Doing sporting activities such as horseback riding or artistic gymnastics may lead to a tear in the hymen. While they are theoretically still virgins, their hymens are broken.

    • Why you think that I am going to tell you? it more important to men than to women.

  • Not really. Maybe if you're ultra religious or something. But once you've lost your virginity nothing changes at all. You're still you. No change.

  • It does not impact anything other than the male mind lmao

    • A lot of females as well.

    • Virgins are fine, nonvirgins are fine. We just don't want a manwhore whose gotten with more than 10 people

    • Don’t get a manwhore then. But you might pass that threshold yourself

  • Not like it used to be

  • It's highly desirable, but when it comes to dating, most guys don't expect it because it's incredibly hard to find a virgin woman nowadays, so they just opt for her to not be ran through most of the time. But it's easy to find a virgin man.

  • Statistically, virginity cannot be very important. We are all virgins... until we are not.

  • Not in my opinion

  • It’s a matter of personal opinion. Some people value virginity and some don’t.

    • Ditto 😋🙂

  • It is to Virgins and Muslims.

  • Absolutely

  • Not at all. It’s absurd and against nature.

  • Not to me.
    I prefer someone with experience.
