I know a guy who always talks about how he is a loving and passionate man, talks about how he would love his woman and never cheated on her and he is the one who turned out to have multiple side chicks.

If there's one thing I learned about men in all the relationships that I've had, men talk the biggest about things that they lack in themselves. The ex who told me to not have opposite gender friends openly had female besties and was found cheating on me with another girl. The ex who talked big about valuing me for who I am as a person sexualized me the most for my appearance. The dude who talked big about being religious and chaste and saving turned out to be the one texting women for their nudes.

At least now I got better at predicting what to expect from a guy by paying attention to what he talks about.

I am not sure i can say I have a side chick but I recently got out of a long term relationship. I am currently see three different women (although I did just end one of the relationships). I have explicitly committed to any of them and although I have not spoke to the women specifically about the other women, I have told them that that is where I am and what I can commit to now. If I get into serious or committed relationship then a side chick is not acceptable unless it is discussed and there is full understanding for everyone involved. I have never had that conversation with someone but I think the point is hiding something, really anything whether it is another relationship, or anything else bad spending habits, using drugs or alcohol too much, whatever it is the secret that creates the mistrust. Took me aong time to learn that!
