It really upsets me, I want us to have a little chat and say nice things to each other but he falls asleep without even answering the questions I ask him. Why isn't he talking to me? Is this a sign that he doesn't really love me?

I can understand that he is tired but at least he can say I love you but he just sleeps without a word and it's so heartbreaking.

It has nothing to do with you or how good you are in bed. Many guys after they cum just get sleepy.
Guys often feel sleepy after nutting. Nutting itself costs the body a lot of energy as well as regenerating the nut.
So don't blame him for wanting to sleep a bit, although he should check his health if he can't stay up a bit for a chat. Does he cuddle when he sleeps or does he just turn around and leave you there to do whatever? Love doesn't always have to be about talking you know... Okay it's very simple. Some men after completing their happy time, get very tired and go to sleep. It's not that he doesn't love you, it's just that the male release can be way more tiring than you think. Pro tips for your issue, talk to him about it during the day and ask him to stay up for you. Also consider finishing fun time standing up, it would help him stay awake if he's not in his bed. Move it around, try in different rooms of the house. Or different times of day, when you both are hopped up on energy. But above all else communicate with him.
Perfectly normal response to fall asleep after sex. Appreciate the fact you make him comfortable enough for him to fall asleep. Wakes up the next day enjoying life with you.
This is a commonly known thing humans and most other animals fall asleep after sex. He likely can’t help it and instead of enjoying his physical presence you’re expecting him to do something that physiologically speaking doesn’t make sense. Enjoy what you have rather than dwelling on what you don’t.
He might just say I love you but he just sleeps and it makes me feel sad. I don't expect him to have long conversations but at least he could say I love you. Well I'm a little emotional and sensitive even though he knows I'm upset, his not taking it makes me feel very worthless.
