I've been married for a long time and can honestly say I'm not interested in somebody else, so there's never been a big age difference for me when it comes to sex. If I weren't married, I'd be looking for someone my own age because the relationship has always been the most important thing for me, and with a much younger woman it wouldn't work. So if I were having sex with a much younger woman, it would definitely be because I was just using her. A young body with more energy, and possibly someone who hasn't done some things I have and I could see her reactions when she experiences something new. But it would just be sex; there'd be no lasting relationship so I doubt I would ever do it.
I'd say it's the combination of a body that's at the height of female sexual appeal and a wonderfully positive energy that girls in their 20s seem to exude, especially when they're thoroughly aroused! ;-)

While people claim that older women are wild, i think comparing 40+ women who are active in the dating world from the rest is misleading. A lot of low drive women by that point are married or not dating at all.
From what i've seen, younger women are more experimental, have higher drives, faster sexual response, better bodies.
Not quite in your age ranges, but when I was 59 I had sex with a girl that was 39. We had a friends with benefits type relationship for about a year. It was not necessarily the age difference albeit was nice, but the desire for each of us to be together. It was really nice and a bit of a different story about what brought us together. Hot hot hot and enjoyable.
