I don't know how they would ever quantify negative effects. Just because it affects one or a segment of the population negatively doesn't mean it affects everyone that way.
Excellent take. We should teach children not to do drugs and not to use porn, which acts on the brain like a drug. Of course they will still do it but at least they will be aware of the dangers.

Not all porn exploits women and children (there are independent women doing porn willingly and making a living without someone abusing then). Not all porn watchers are addicted to it, as addiction depends on the individual. Watching porn will not make you go after "extreme crap" because porn is not a drug.
