Should children be taught the negative effects of watching porn?

I think they should !! If the average age kids are watching porn is as young as 13 I think it’s important for children to be taught how dangerous porn is and how it damages the brain. Especially when watched at such a young age.

Porn companies know they profit off of getting kids addicted when they’re young so they have long term customers for life.

Porn normalizes the abuse of women which can and does translate to the abuse of girls in real life by their male peers.

Targets of these displays of aggression were overwhelmingly women and either showed pleasure or neutrality in response to the aggression. A meta-analysis published in Aggressive Behavior confirmed this link, and went on further to state that there was a significant correlation between sexually violent pornography and attitudes supporting violence against women. This correlation supports findings suggesting that increased pornography use has an influence on non-conscious responses to stimuli, meaning that we are both consciously and unconsciously being conditioned by pornography in a negative way.

More people need to be talking about this. I feel like this is a very unpopular opinion for some reason
