I couldn't begin to tell you. What I don't understand is why a not very attractive, not very masculine man would want to transgender to a not very attractive, not very feminine female? You go through all that shit and you're STILL not attractive, nor are you "really" a female !
It's actually not that hard to understand. It's simple. They feel like they were born in the wrong body as the wrong gender. They don't care about being attractive or not, thats not why they are doing it. They're doing it so they are feel like they're themselves. Can you imagine how shit it would feel to wake up everyday look in the mirror when you despise what you look like on the outside? They want to look how they feel on the inside. And there is nothing wrong with it. There is nothing wrong with someone wanting to be who they feel like especially when it doesn't hurt anyone else and no one else has a right to tell them, or anyone else for that matter, how they should or shouldn't feel. And no I'm not transgender.
@ciitruskiwi I have no dispute with your reply, and I understand your explanation. MY point is … the actual "difference" in appearance, especially if they're not attractive, isn't very significant, at least not to others. I can understand that if it is to "them", that's what they were looking for. I also want to say I don't know that your simplistic explanation holds true in most, or in what percentage of cases. It seems to me, it's a lot more complex than that.
They are all masculine that is the problem and the reason why they need to understand they are fucking men and the general population is not going to change what they think just because they want that to happen
