no i wasn't, cause i don't live in some 3rd world country. nothing wrong with having a circumcision for your baby for medical reasons. but if it's only cosmetic, that's child mutilation. if it's about looks, they can decide that themself later in life.

I was born into an Eastern European family, where this practice is not that common. I learned about it by living in a country which encourages the practice. I still have my foreskin; I had a very serious look at getting the snip done aged 39. Plans have changed, as I'm back in Europe.
Given the right circumstances, I would reconsider getting circumcised as an adult.
