I saw them in 1990. It was the last time Brian Wilson toured with the band. Dennis Wilson had already died so John Stamos was the drummer. It was weird to see Uncle Jesse playing with the Beach Boys.

what was it like seeing them? did you meet them?

I never met them but at the time there was a great deal of controversy about artists lip synching the words at their concerts. I think Hall and Oates got caught doing this. I walked up to the stage to get a good look at them and they for sure were the real deal. Years later I saw them again. It was really only Mike Love and a bunch of session musicians. Carl Wilson had died and Brian Wilson was in his crazy phase. I could see him visibly forget the words to some of the songs. We really had a great time and everyone in the place sung every word to every song but it was a little sad too.
