It's kinda meh to be honest. I'm just not a fan of that jacket. I don't think it goes well because you have too many textures and shades of black. You've got the tights, the skirt and the jacket and they all sort of clash, add in the textured top and it's too much, IMHO. I think a switch of the top to blazer that matches the skirt. Then I'd just play around with the length and cut of the blazer, like see if a short cropped front open blazer would work or an oversized double breasted blazer. My fiancée loves the ones Veronica Beard makes.

Oh, and either way, I'd say it's definitely work appropriate. Outfits like this are pretty common when I had to work in the office and is in line with what my fiancée may wear to work (she's in finance and I'm in advertising).

I fits you good. Very classy not showing off too much cleavage and skirt is not to short but still show off your beutiful legs. The jacket is a nice touch also. If your going to a interview you look very professional but also looks good if your have a girls night.
