What is the best action an Adult can take if a minor comes on to them and they won’t accept no for an answer?

Imagine yourself as an adult and you are in regular contact with a minor at your job who is extremely attracted to you. Despite you refusing their advances several times and making it crystal clear that you are in no way attracted to them they will not accept “no” for an answer.

what in your opinion is the best course of action in this unfortunate hypothetical situation?

I've never been in that scenario but I think my first response would be to make sure they know I see them as a kid and am uninterested and uncomfortable with them coming on to me. I'd ignore it as much as I can, but if it came down to it I'd have to inform someone that they were being inappropriate

I would inform HR and ALSO the kid's parents. Informing HR will get you out of trouble, informing the parents will help them to guide their underage kid in a better direction.

If the minor was also an employee I would report this to my boss. Even if they weren't an employee, the boss is probably the best person to handle the situation.

I wouldn't go so far as to inform the parents. Everyone has their preferences and most of society is just a bunch of sheep that believe if something is made into a law, the action considered a crime is immoral. I don't think it's immoral to date a "minor" if the attraction is mutual and it's consented. Obviously there IS an age that's too young and that would be before puberty, which happens at a different age based on the individual... not a "government dictated universal minor age". That being said, if there is no attraction towards the younger person, then just stand your ground and keep telling them no until they get it. You are free to have your preferences as well. Getting parents involved could lead to very severe and unjust punishment just for having their preferences.

Take care of that FAST. Get some type of recording or video proving your innocence first and foremost to protect yourself. Then mention something to Human Resources. It’s their job to take care of it.

I'm going to be brutally honest, you need to slap his ass... I've done that, I've been there... no matter what you say or cold shoulder, a honey guy is a leech... ESPECIALLY when you work together, I feel sorry for you... but tbh, threaten him with harassment casually, so he GETS THE HINT. If he doesn't slap his fucking face, that ALWAYS made it clear to me I'm overstepping my boundaries... because if he doesn't realize that's your limit, then he will get EXTREMELY aggressive, so stay nearby a friend... men are fucked up.
