Sexual Health Just to clarify, in my eyes incest is wrong. But WHY is it wrong in YOUR eyes? Is it physically or morally wrong or both?
I'm hoping to expand my thoughts in this for a psychology assignment.

When I say incest i mean generally a sexual relationship between immediate family. I don't view a cousin/cousin relationship as incest. I've lived where it's legal.

8 46It degenerates the genepool. In pakistan cousin marriage are the norm and 70% of all marriages are intermaried with cousins. They have 2 times as much chance as europeans to get stillborn children.
The only way I can agree that it might be flat-out wrong because there is almost always an inherent power relationship -- parent/child, aunt/uncle, older sibling/younger sibling -- that complicates the matter of consent. But if acts of incest can be truly consensual, any that do not produce a child are fine by me.
If it's consensual between two adults then it shouldn't be wrong , a few years age difference shouldn't matter much either.
As long as safe sex is practiced and nobody's getting knocked up.

Morally who am I to judge what's right and wrong. But nature is telling us that there is something wrong with incest because of all of the birth defects and etc.
It is not wrong even in the Bible poeple do it.
For me, as long as it's not done for procreation and is amongst consenting adults, then it really isn't that wrong.
