To me, both are related. Hook up culture was born from sexual liberation tainted with misogyny.
This is historical/cultural. Many (but not all) cultures are patriarchal (man is the head of household), and view female's lack of physical strength in comparison to a male's as a reason why males/men should have dominance over his female counterpart. I do think it is more exaggerated with social media/reality TV/sex commodification.
I'm of the opinion that it is also genetic (I have no idea if this is factual) based off my understanding of the earliest humans.
Also, many of the things you listed above can be objectifying to women but aren't exclusively meant to be that way.
Woman do not have access to the same systems of power men have, so I try to understand some of the behavior (regardless of my opinion) as women within a system trying to exercise their own power.

A lot of it is just the media influence of women being presented as these statuesque presentations of beauty. In terms of real women that we meet in day-to-day life, the problem is that so few men and women actually connect with each other. It's easy to see someone as an object if you don't talk with them. Im going to try to take a stab at this.. One.. I have never personally seen women as sex objects, save for a very short time in my early 20's when all i cared about was sticking my dick in something (sorry for being crude).. I think the issue is at the societal level.. Women are seen as sex objects for reproduction, that is our single strongest primal urge at the core.. To replicate and have children. On the other side of that token. For a very long time, and even currently, Men are seen as success objects, We are not judged on our sex, we are judged on how much we can provide and how much money we can make.. Before we were a money society, it was how much resources we could provide.. I have problems with both of these premises.. The success object part, because i can't stand gold digger/sugar daddy culture, and the sex object part, because i as a man dont want a woman that is one dimensional, and reducing a woman to being a sex object makes her just that.. One dimensional. I think of my wife in that situation... She has never been just a sex object to me.. Sure i love her, and i absolutely love having sex with her.. But what attracted me to her the most, was when i was in the hospital for infected wisdom teeth, They almost killed me by the way, she was the only one that cared enough to visit me.. I felt like if she cared for me like that, she is definitely someone i want in my life. that was almost 8 years ago..
