Sexual Health Why boys wear underwear under swim trunks? To hide the outline of their penis with wet trunks?

I was at a waterpark and noticed almost all teenager boys wear underwear under their swim trunks (boxer briefs or under armour, usually the waistband is visible). Never noticed before, but my friends told me it's pretty common among boys, they believe because otherwise with wet trunks the outline of their penis become visible, and to contain boners. Is it the reason? boys answer!

7 29I've never heard of that and I don't do that. It is what it is, if they fall off while I'm in public, then oh well. But I don't wear my swim trunks that loose anyway. And as far as to hide the outline of my penis, I don't really care if u can see it or not. But when I get a hard on in public, that's pretty hard to hide so the best thing to do is stay in the pool or stay sitting down, but honestly that doesn't happen that often.

I wear underwear under my swimming shorts still because if I didn't, even though I'm proud of what I've got, I always get a boner and people would see it. I wish I could wear them without underwear.
I never have I don't like how it feels. Once the boxers or underwear get wet it strangles my penis lol. You do get a slight outline of your junk in swimming shorts I have caught some girls looking at it from time to time but I don't mind I'm a guy guys have a penis so what if you see an outline lol
I don't bother with this. I'm a guy, so everyone knows I have a dick. I don't mind if the outline is visible when my trunks get wet and I don't mind if occasionally I pop a boner.
I could give a damn if girls see my penis, but walking around with plumbers crack is kind of rude...

A lot of swim suits actually have underwear built in. It helps hold the suit on, and keeps our parts from spilling out. I think that is what you might be seeing.

I mentioned this too. But you don't think it is weird that females would me more prone to doing this than guys? I mean, the majority of girls get so over-saturated with dick pics that they really don't want to see another dick IMO. But us guys seeing a naked female we would gravitate to her in a heartbeat and give her a ton of attention. It should be the other way around since a lot woman are so nervous about their bodies and don't want to get over-saturated with male attention and guys have no problem broadcasting their genitalia and generally are less concerned with their bodies.
