Why did he randomly stop talking to me?

Ive been hanging out with this guy who I knew for a while now. We were friends with benefits I guess but recently he broke up with his girlfriend and he became a lot closer with me. He told me that he wants to start to develop a relationship with me and he really believes its going to go somewhere...we hung out every single day for the past 2 weeks. And if we weren't hanging out we would text. He was being really cute and considerate. But for the past 3 days he hasn't been answering any of my texts, no calls nothing. The last time we saw each other we were both fine and he acted like usual. Why did he all of a sudden stop talking to me like that?

Agreed with the other comment... he is talking to his ex and trying to work that out. Most likely he wanted to test it out with you and found the old relationship comforting. Now he is avoiding you. And in a few weeks or months when he is getting irritated with her again he will be sure to reconnect with you. Because he didn't break it off officially he still thinks he has a window of opportunity.
