I mean I've lost count of how many guys claim that girls are secretly lesbian because they do that! 2. I honestly don't think a guy would be considered "gay" for calling another man handsome. Guys do compliment each other on their looks but not as much as girls do and I don't think that's because as "homophobia" but because looks don't matter as much to guys as they do to girls. For example, when girls go the gym, girls more often compliment each other on how they look. When guys go to the gym, we mostly compliment each other on how much we can lift.

For eg Social media like facebook, instagram if a guy has cool profile picture and other guys do compliments him.
It's kinda normal thing

I don't think it's inherently gay, it just depends on the context.

I have several friends who are pretty good looking guys, and if someone asked me if they were good looking I'd say yeah. But I think that's different than me walking up to them and going "wow, you're beautiful!"
