Why do women only give a fuck about male problems when it starts affecting their dating/marriage prospect?

We live in society where men are treated as second class citizens. Yet are expected to serve and protect a society that says:

1. you are a potential rapist

2. you are no good

3. takes the word of female's over men especially when it comes to things like domestic abuse and rape.

4. Teacher's don't even want to help you and would rather give more support to your female peers over you.

5. Expected to maintain their gender roles of being leaders, providers and protectors for women who have long since abandon gender roles in place of equality. The vast majority of women who want men to do all these things for them are very ungrateful today, and treat all but the most desirable men with disrespect.

6. Creep shaming - A very nasty one put in place to make it so women have control over male sexuality.

Men who are attractive get away with being bold, approaching, cat calling, and even touching/grabbing a girl without her consent. While men who are not attractive and to take a leap of fate to approach a girl he likes often will be labelled with the creep label. So women can maintain the image of picking men for their virtuous character/personality and being less shallow about looks.

7. Lack of support for male depression and mental illness.

With all this and many more being said men have been telling women for years about the discrimination but women have responded with shame, ridicule, "man up", telling men to fuck off. Even a male activist "girl's writes what" only started to give a fuck about men when she had sons and realize they would be fucked.

And now we have even more articles from women coming out when it's too late that either sympathize with men problems today or complain about how it affects them. A common thing about them is that it only comes about because it is now affecting women's prospect at a potential mate for relationship/marriage.

Honestly, I didn't even read of all this, but I don't have to to provide you with an answer. Not everyone is like me. I have learned that and continue to learn each day that even more people in this world are not like me.

We do have a lot of double standards in society. Feminism and wanted to be seen as equal among others is okay. But what's not okay is when we choose to not take the well-being of others into consideration due to our "need" to feel equal and/or superior. I'll be honest yet again, many men do act like children when they catch a cold, but those women who are mothers and are still sick have to assume their responsibilities and don't get to lay in bed and rest to promote health because they still have work, families, etc..

But I'll have you know that society as a whole doesn't care much about the mental health of ANYONE. I know this because I have experience working in mental health and I have seen how these patients are treated--both male and female. It's heartbreaking. Regardless of one's history and who they are, I still care. But like I said, not everyone is like me.

And maybe it's because I am religious and I believe in the Bible. I believe that we are called to help one another and help lift each other up. I can take a compliment from a man and not feel that he just wants to get in my pants simply because I know that nice people still exist although they are hard to find. I don't believe that everyone I meet has intentions of doing me wrong. And to be honest, I trust guys more than I trust girls. My best friend is my boyfriend.

I apologize for how crappy society has made us. I apologize that it has made many of us throw our morals, values and respect for others out the door. I can't speak for everyone, but I can promise you that good people do still exist. I don't know you, but I don't think that I am any better than you or the next person. When it comes to marriage, I still believe that it's God>Husband>Wife & kids. Not everyone agrees, but that's their right just like it's my right to be different and choose to love everyone the way that the Lord loves us. :)

okay, some of your points are valid, such as male suffers of mental illness not getting enough support, and hyper masculinity being a problem. but feminists literally coined that term, theyre not working against that. feminism isn't about putting women over men, or taking away rights from people who already have them, is about helping out the people who have a lot harder time getting through life.

also, number 4 is such bullshit, there are programs designed to help out women in STEM because there are barely any women there. women are 47% of the workforce, but their percentages in STEM fields can go as low as 8%. women are constantly told that they shouldn't or can't work in those fields, /thats/ why there are programs in place to allow them to do so.

also, that article at the end really damages your point. what are you even trying to say? you just come across as desperate and trying to shame some poor girl into wanting to date you for fear of there being none else?

Narcissism and solipsism are feminine qualities. It's not their faults, it's just how they're wired. Women have never really needed to care about anybody but themselves since they've always had men to provide for them. Everyone is getting hate everywhere. If you don't want more people to hate on you, a better strategy would be to de-stigmatize these issues by raising awareness for, say, male mental illness struggles etc. Nobody will get anywhere by pointing fingers and generalizing the opposite sex. That will only create a bigger ravine between us and will cause much more drama and hate than necessary, which is extremely counterproductive.

I don't need to talk to every woman on the planet to make a statement. Hiding behind the generalize clause and making that someone needs to do a worldwide survey for every woman on the planet to come to a discussion just allows the problem to fester. It's quite simple.

Because evolution designed men to compete for women, and provide resources to them.

It designed women to choose from men, and suck resources out of them to hand off to their children.

That design got us here, alive, and successful over other competitor species.

Every womb had some value from an evolutionary standpoint, but only strong men were worth anything. Weak men were just a useless drain on the species.

Now that doesn't mean we should not extend our empathy, but we shouldn't be surprised when there isn't much for men's problems. It's like complaining that your dog doesn't feel bad that you have to pay all the bills.
