For the same reason that sex is the attractive concept for all human beings. Do bear in mind physiologically we pull toward sex even just in our day-to-day lives. We talk about it, think about it, act in it, and are created by its use. On top of it there is The psychological aspects of sex, the physical aspects of sex, even the physiological aspects of sex.
I mean we’re interested in it so much just simply; because there are an endless number of questions that can be asked about the one topic, and therefore there’s an endless curiosity that needs to be filled. In addition let’s take any other subject for example snowboarding. OK snowboards are designed in a certain ways so that way they can glide on top of the surface of powdered water created by multiple factors pertaining the weather. There’s not very much to it is there not a whole bunch of questions that derive from it in fact it’s a pretty straightforward action. Also not everyone snowboards. There’s only gonna be a select amount of people that actually go out snowboarding all the time who when you talk to them about snowboarding can probably talk for days about all the experiences they’ve had. Most people either have never been snowboarding or have been snowboarding, but don’t snowboard so frequently that it’s a huge talking point.
What’s the difference between sex and snowboarding one activity is shared and done by most everyone, The other activity is only shared and talked with by a select amount of people who get to experience it either on the regular or every now and again. The point being; because sex is a common topic that is shared amongst the entirety of life on this planet in some form or another that inherently means that there will be more questions, more curiosity, and more experiences to discover about it.
To be honest what amazes me about the concept of sex is that we’re still coming up with a new question to ask about it.
The human species has been around having sex and talking about sex since our first evolutionary step in which to communicate with each other. You would think after all that time we would run out of questions about sex, but we don’t. Why don’t we Run out of questions; because we are constantly learning new things about what it is to be human, and oddly enough a lot of those understandings can be directly viewed via the act of sex.
I mean it’s the only time where we are absolutely vulnerable on a physical, physiological, and psychological scale to such a degree that it impacts our nervous system functions during the action, and the science behind that is ridiculously complicated with, and in itself.
So why do we obsess over sex so much; because it is a topic that effects us on a day-to-day basis even when we aren’t having it, because it reveals our greatest realities, and; because its ingrained in our very being as some thing that must be sought out.
Do some people take it overboard sure, but there’s nothing in this world that some people aren’t gonna take overboard. That being said by talking about it we can better understand it, and by better understanding it we can better understand ourselves, why we do the things we do, and act the way we act. In turn and time we learn to understand each other even if it’s just on the base level of sex and why/ how its necessary for life, yet moreover why it’s such an integral part of life as it exists.

Good stuff. Regarding the 'it's a wonder we still have questions about it... I think that's because it's such a private or hidden act, and every person needs to find this stuff out for themselves. It's not like an industry with a foundation of knowledge that scientists, colleagues, write about and share. Sex is mostly learned by the doing. And it's fun to talk about it too. But with it being always somewhat taboo, it lengthens the learning curve. Maybe?

Because everyone on here is a horndog and jump on sex questions like a duck on a June bug. Most of my non sexual questions got blase' replies. I'm thinking that in spite of people sounding like they get sex all the time on here, they probably get none so ask all these sex questions to get off too, especially the sexy nympho type answers that cater to their fantasies.
Because there's a lot of virgins on here whose only experience of sex is porn. Consequently they haven't got a clue what happens with sex in the real world, so they think they're asking normal reasonable questions, based on the excessive amounts of porn they watch.
