Sexual Health Why is your "seed" so important?

In the Bible, on TV, in movies, and in every day life, males explicitly or implicitly express an obsession with their own personal semen and the transmission of their own personal DNA. For example, trying to make all girls monogamous. You want a girl (or many) who's horny as heck to want lots of sex with you and you alone, and yet be cold to everyone else. (Female nature is not monogamous) You largely don't care about children, especially adopted, step or "bastard" children, and only care if a child is "of your own seed" (and even then, many of you don't actually WANT children, and stop the "caring" when you're done ejaculating, and don't invest very much into learning about child development or into providing for your seed beyond conception, or making a better world for your seeds to grow up in, and many of you even partake in behaviour that directly damages your seed) Can any male give a logical reason (concerning all of humanity) why your seed is, in your supposed opinion, more important than any other man's seed? And if so, do you put true effort into nurturing said seeds to healthy maturity? Why don't you consider other mens' seeds as valuable? And if you can't give any logical answer, why, then, are you so obsessed with female loyalty/monogamy and limiting female sexuality and competing with other males' DNA? Is it just something you learned from your fathers and believe even though it makes no sense? Or do you genuinely think your seed is extraordinary? Is there any real societal benefit to this philosophy? And if so, what is it? What's the future you envision? Or are you (as I suspect) still functioning from a non-rational animal drive that you yourself don't comprehend? Is it possible this is why we, as a species, now have overpopulation and ecological strain to contend with? Have you ever considered this point of view before? Thanks.
