Yes, because if they would accept the opportunity, I'd rather they leave, happens to many people for no money, at least I walk away w/ $5,000,000 & less time wasted on someone who would be willing to whore for money... while few would want to be cheated on, in the end it's a win-win, because, again, many face this situation w/o any monetary reward in the end.
While you might stipulate hypothetical, if this happened, there is no reality in which there would be a "happily ever after sharing the money", because the ethical corruption would make the outcome, by result of cheating at all, impossible. Then, there's the fact if I "allow" my partner to cheat, is it cheating w/ my authorization?
